Missouri Woman Dies in I-70 Crash in St. Charles County

Emma Brungardt, 20, of Moscow Mills, Missouri, died in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 in St. Charles County on Monday, August 7, 2023.

Accident Details

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Brungardt was driving a 2019 Honda Civic eastbound on I-70 near mile marker 217 when she lost control of the vehicle. The car traveled off the right side of the road, struck a concrete barrier, and overturned.

Brungardt was pronounced dead at the scene. She was the only occupant of the vehicle.

Investigation Ongoing
