Amazon Prime Video Announces Like a Dragon: Yakuza Live-Action Series

Amazon Prime Video has officially announced the premiere date of their original live-action series, Like a Dragon: Yakuza, based on the popular video game franchise. The series will make its debut on Prime Video in two separate batches.

The first three episodes of Like a Dragon: Yakuza will be released on October 25th, while the remaining episodes will follow on November 1st.

Like a Dragon: Yakuza is an original live-action series based on the long-running video game franchise of the same name. The series will follow the story of Kazuma Kiryu, a former Yakuza member who has been betrayed by his clan and framed for a murder he did not commit.

The series will be produced by Amazon Studios and Sega, and will be directed by Takashi Miike (Oldboy, Audition). The cast includes Kazunari Ninomiya as Kazuma Kiryu, Hiroki Miura as Goro Majima, and Takuya Kimura as Shintaro Kazama.
