Hockey Canada Launches Comprehensive Registry System
Enhancing Participant Management and Qualification Tracking
Hockey Canada's recently launched Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) has become the official platform for managing participant registration and qualification tracking. Developed to streamline and improve the management of hockey participation across the country, the HCR is designed to enhance the overall experience for players, teams, and associations.
Working closely with its 13 member branches and local minor hockey associations, Hockey Canada introduced the HCR in June 2021 as a unified platform for managing over 2800 local hockey associations. The system allows for efficient registration processes, including qualification tracking, making it easier for participants and teams to meet eligibility requirements.
As the national governing body for hockey in Canada, Hockey Canada remains committed to providing a comprehensive and standardized approach to managing hockey participation at all levels. The HCR is a key component of this strategy, providing a centralized database that connects players, teams, minor hockey associations, and Hockey Canada branches.
